The Matrix Machine has a lower capital cost than
a large incinerator and is significantly cheaper to operate. Being modular
it can be sited, installed and operating very shortly after delivery at
any site where infectious waste is generated. A dedicated site where air
pollution concerns need to be addressed is therefore not required. Thus
in appropriate configurations the unit can be moved from site to site.
Generally a machine is comprised of a series of off-the-shelf components including shredders and a fine clearance mixer developed specially for this type of material. The environmental and economic features give the Matrix machine a substantial advantage in the market place whether it is made locally or overseas.
